To run LightScribe Diagnostics Utility, your system must have LightScribe's Windows software installed as well as enabled on startup, but you can download and run it for free. The diagnostic tool accurately identified our LightScribe setup on one system and lack of one on the other. We tried the tool on a LightScribe-enabled system as well as one with a DVD-RW drive that did not support LightScribe. We could save and export data, too, as well as clear and refresh the data by clicking buttons in the Operations field. Boxes listed data on our LightScribe version, our system, and all LightScribe-enabled drives and media. The tool uses a series of small pop-ups for most steps, though clicking Advanced on the View menu opened a larger interface with tabs for Diagnostics, Event Log, Error Files, and Utilities. If LightScribe should be enabled but isn't, it can help you sort out any conflicts or problems. If you're not sure your disk burner supports LightScribe, simply download and run this diagnostic tool to find out. After you've checked out whether your system is ready to run LightScribe, you can uninstall the diagnostic tool or keep it in case you make any hardware or software changes. It also scans for conflicts, suggesting changes that you can accept, reject, or modify. LightScribe Diagnostics Utility is a free tool that can check your system's LightScribe compatibility as well as its readiness to run the software without problems. To use it, you must have a LightScribe-enabled disk burner. LightScribe's technology burns customized labels directly onto specially treated DVDs and CDs. It has been theorized that the game quickly caught on with the public given its simplicity, fun animations, the need to develop a strategy (albeit a fairly simple strategy) and the adorable duo of Bob and Bub, character dragons who shot the actual bubbles.Ī mere year later, Bubble Shooter games really took off after several game developers launched computer and browser-based versions of Bubble Shooter. The first recognized Bubble Shooter game was an arcade game released in Japan called Puzzle Bobble (in the US and other Western countries it was called Bust a Move). Are you one of the thousands of players to play Bubble Shooter daily!? Bubble Shooter is free (like all of our online games), easy to play with beautiful art and animations, and also relaxing so it is a great way to unwind. Here's a bit of a hint: if you're looking to get additional bubbles to shoot, after every few rounds you can select to watch a short message from one of our sponsor, which will automatically provide you extra moves! Let's get pop, pop, popping with this classic Bubble Shooter game! Your main goal is to progress through the bubble ceiling as far as you can to maximize your score before you run out of bubble shots. Also, remember to use special lightning bonus-up bubbles that will pop large amounts of bubbles at the same time. If you hit 2 or more bubbles of the same color as the one you shoot, they will pop! Any bubbles that are no longer connected to the ceiling will fall down. Just like other classic bubble shooter games, use the mouse to aim your bubble shooter and click the left mouse button to shoot a bubble. There's no getting around the fact that this e-bike is a little more expensive than others on this list. We also love that, given its size and capabilities, it folds down surprisingly small. The combination of a 750-watt geared-hub motor and chunky fat tires help the RadExpand 5 tackle mountain trails and steep hills with aplomb. We've long been fans of Rad Power, and our gear testing team found this e-bike further proves why we love them so much. The RadExpand 5 also packs a number of functional features like a cargo rack for carrying goods, plus reflecting striping on the tire sidewalls and LED headlights for evening rides. We're talking a sturdy 6061 aluminum frame, thick, rugged tires, and 750 watts of power. Take its RadExpand 5, which is built to the brand's signature high standard. Rad Power Bikes has some of the best e-bikes money can buy. For that price, you're getting essentially a mountain-ready bike and a "daily driver" that's perfect for hitting city streets or rides to the park, too. This is another well-priced folder at just under $800 delivered. Plus, added features like a rear cargo rack and clean, easy-to-read LCD display make it more usable and add even more value. We found the 750-watt power output and beefy 20-inch-by-4-inch puncture-resistant tires to be more than enough to tackle just about any terrain. Our gear testers loved the combination of this folding e-bike's rugged construction, go-anywhere fat tires, and very reasonable price point. What's cool is this e-bike's battery was designed to be easily removed, so you can use it as a traditional non-powered bike while the battery charges. Plus, added features like a front fork suspension and a seven-step shifting system help riders maneuver both off- and on-road as comfortably as possible. This bike's fat tires are capable of grinding through all kinds of trails and terrain. Hipeak's foldable e-bike has started to garner attention fast from outdoor enthusiasts.
The idea is to score the jacket, but not cut through it.
The American submarines also carry the Tomahawks, and can carry 65 missiles and torpedoes. The British submarines are equipped with 38 torpedoes and Tomahawk cruise missiles, which can be used to attack buildings and ships from 1700 kilometres away. Each Virginia class sub cost around $US3.2 billion ($4.4 billion), the Congressional Research Service estimated. But because the nuclear vessels were more potent, fewer would be needed, defence officials said.Īn Astute class submarine cost about £1.4 billion ($2.6 billion) to build in Britain, according to the UK National Audit Office. “We have done a lot of work behind the scenes in Washington.”Īustralia had planned to build 12 French-designed submarines in Adelaide to replace the existing fleet of six diesel vessels. “This is something some of us have been arguing for over a decade,” said Dr Babbage, the chief executive of Strategic Forum, a defence consulting firm. They are likely to be equipped with torpedoes, mines and cruise missiles that can be used against ships and buildings. However, Ross Babbage says, an Australian version of an American Virginia class or British Astute class might not be completed within a decade, and the navy might lease a less powerful Los Angeles class submarine from the US in the meantime.īritain’s Astute class submarine on the surface while operating with the UK Carrier Strike Group.Įither way, Australia’s eight nuclear submarines will be designed to hunt down and sink China’s growing submarine fleet. The Royal Australian Navy is likely to build versions of the latest US or British submarines that have more potent weapons and sensors than their Chinese counterparts, says a former Defence Department official who has participated in talks with the US about sharing naval technology. Add the water chestnuts, bok choy leaves, chicken stock, and soy sauce, and bring to a boil. Add the white parts of the bok choy and mushrooms, and stir-fry for 1 minute. Sprinkle with the crushed dried red chiles and Chinese five-spice powder. As the chicken begins to brown, add the rice wine. Add the chicken breast and stir-fry until golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes. Throw in the garlic and ginger and stir-fry for less than 1 minute. Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat add the vegetable oil. Add the cornstarch, and mix thoroughly to coat set aside. In a medium bowl, sprinkle the chicken with salt, ground white pepper and the oyster sauce. ♦ 1 (8-oz) can drained water chestnuts, sliced ♦ 2 small bok choy, cut in half, core removed, white part sliced and leaves left whole ♦ 1/2 tsp crushed dried chile flakes, more if desired ♦ sea salt and freshly ground white pepper The step to cook this delicious Filipino chop suey is easy and straight forward.♦ 2 chicken breasts (1 pound total), cut into 1-inch cubes While the Chinese or Filipino version is mixed with different vegetables, soy sauce, and protein meat. The American Chop Suey is a pasta casserole that is mixed with ground beef, macaroni, and tomato paste. If you encountered a dish called American chop suey, that is not the same as the Filipino or American Chinese chop suey. In addition to that, I like to eat and serve along with my Filipino noodle recipe- Chicken Pancit Canton. To me, I like to serve this with my Shanghai fried rice which is Chinese style fried recipe or Beef Chao Fan. It may seem too much, but this is normal in our Philippine culture.įor example, with this vegetable recipe, we eat it either with white rice or fried rice. You will notice we put different dishes such as rice, meat, vegetables and noodle on one plate. In the Philippines, when we cook Filipino food, we usually eat with other side dishes or choice of food. This will prevent making your dish watery or soupy. In addition to that, I add the cornstarch-water mixture to make the sauce thick. The soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil add savoriness, sweetness, and nuttiness to the dish. OTHER INGREDIENTS: In addition to vegetables, the sauces are important to make the chop suey flavorful and savory. The quail egg makes this stir-fried vegetable dish tasty, and chicken breast is much healthier than other types of meats. Leave for around 3-4 mins or until the carrot and broccoli are half-cooked. Over medium to medium high heat, add the water/broth and then cover the pan or wok to allow these to cook in the steam. MEAT: In the Philippines, we include meats in our chopsuey, which I add chopped chicken breast and quail egg. Sauté the garlic and onion until translucent & aromatic, around 1 minute. You can add other green vegetables of your choice, but to me, this is more than enough. VEGETABLES: In this recipe, I only use 5 kinds of vegetables- Cabbage, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Bell Pepper, and Carrot. To make a Filipino Chop Suey requires a lot of vegetables since they are the main ingredients of this recipe. On the other hand, the Filipino version does not add any of these ingredients to their dish and they mostly served with rice. However, I noticed the American Chinese Chop Suey added Bean sprouts, and Chinese wine, and they sometimes served with noodles. If you tried chop suey, you will notice that they both use the same vegetables and the cooking method is similar too. Also, you can keep it in the fridge and serve it on other daysĭifference between the Filipino and Chinese American version? It is affordable since the vegetable ingredients are not expensive. It is perfect to serve with your families and friends, especially during special occasions like holidays, fiesta, or parties. It is very simple to cook since it only took 20 to 25 minutes to make this chop suey.It is a very healthy and nutritious dish since it contains full of vitamins, minerals, and protein from the chicken. Here are my 4 reasons why this Filipino Chop Suey is a must try recipe: In this post, I am going to show you how to make this savory stir-fried vegetable dish which I learned from my Aunt. I have tried Filipino Chop suey in many restaurants and other places, but for her seems to be the best. I eat it with rice and other Filipino side dishes since this what we do here in the Philippines. She made this delicious stir-fried vegetable dish, which is savory, sweet, and yet healthy. It is popular and widely eaten among Chinese Filipinos and the locals.Ī few months ago, I went to my Aunt's house because there was a fiesta in her hometown. In the Philippines, this is one of my favorite vegetable dishes since it is healthy and nutritious. Difference between the Filipino and Chinese American version?Īlthough Chopsuey is part of an American-Chinese food, other countries have their version of this vegetable dish. While there's still some puzzle solving and adventuring to be had here, this area focuses more on action and shooting elements than we've yet seen in any Tomb Raider game. However, the game actually picks up a bit when Lara begins enters the submarine base in Russia. It's still pretty standard Tomb Raider stuff and it won't convince anyone that this game is something to get excited about. Some of the puzzles are somewhat illogical and frivolous, but don't get nearly as annoying as many in the previous Tomb Raider games because you're never forced to venture too far to find the key or required object. The Rome level plays out like classic Tomb Raider, with your standard puzzles that have you flip switches and find specific items to progress through to the next part of the level. Since there are four different quests that take Lara to Rome, an abandoned submarine base in Russia, a haunted castle in Ireland, and a hi-tech office building, each with varied play mechanics, Tomb Raider Chronicles actually has the greatest amount of diversity in play style and atmosphere than you'll find in any of the previous games. The fact that the game has four different and completely unrelated adventures is actually one of its strongest points in its favor. Croft congregate after her funeral and begin reminiscing about her past adventures, and it's these past adventures, of which there are four in total, that the game is based upon. And so, this is where Tomb Raider Chronicles begins. Gameplay For those of you that played The Last Revelation but failed to finish it, the game ended with what appeared to be Lara's death. It might also be conceivable that gamers would even look at this game as a suitable sequel to the first game, because if you directly compare Chronicles to Lara's first adventure, you'll find that it has improvements in many key areas, including its use of cameras, the raw number of Lara's abilities and the basic look of the game.īut, that's not the way everything happened, and instead of taking some time to create a respectable sequel to what was considered the first true 3D adventure game, Eidos cranked out new Tomb Raider games on a yearly basis and have turned what could have been one of gaming's most cherished franchises into one of the most reviled. If this were what happened, the chances would be quite good that Tomb Raider Chronicles would be this year's biggest and most highly anticipated release for PlayStation. Hopefully we'll see other F2P developers have a crack at this so we can play more games with our consoling chums. War Thunder released on Xbox One today, with all the news its claimed that it supports cross play between Xbox one players and PC however, today I tried to add a friend who plays on the Xbox One X, as I play on the PC, it gave me the notification that I could not perform the action due to him being on another platform. They need lots of players who feel invested in the game, so getting to roll everyone together and not split people from their pals is more worth the investment. Free-to-play games, however, live or die on their playerbase. It's unlikely to shift many copies of a regular retail game. Who'll be able to tell the difference between someone's who's better (or worse) at the game and one who's simply controlling it another way? Especially with 32 players buzzing around, or rolling around now it has tanks.Ĭontrol issues aside, we don't see many cross-platform games because it's largely considered not worth the effort. Unlike those two, War Thunder uses matchmaking, so it can bring players together based on the results of their play, regardless of what's in their hands. It also has a different over-the-top attitude, making it a fun and interesting game. PC-console cross-platform play needn't necessarily end that poorly, mind, not only because War Thunder's not an FPS. Disrespect has a stake in the game, and the fact that it works across all platforms is a significant factor in its inclusion in my list of the best cross-platform games. And FASA's Shadowrun FPS was so concerned about mouse controls being better than an Xbox 360 gamepad that it wonkified aiming for PC players. Yes, yes, Quake III players on PC did smash their Dreamcast counterparts. Why war over platforms when you can war across platforms? War Thunder is bringing PC and PlayStation 4 together for a spot of friendly murdering, introducing cross-platform multiplayer "very, very soon." Why bicker when you can be united in a shared love of destroying vintage tanks and aeroplanes? Which is better, PC or PlayStation 4? There's only one way to settle this: realising that it's a daft question and a petty argument entirely unworthy of your precious time. |
